On November 11, 2025, the Teatro7 Lab in Milan hosted a day dedicated to journalists, immersing them in the European project “Blonde d’Aquitaine: European Beef Excellence.” This initiative, over the course of six years, has highlighted the excellence of the Blonde d’Aquitaine cattle breed, both in Italy and France. In a competitive market, the breed is gaining increasing attention due to its superior quality, impeccable traceability, and the safety it offers to Italian consumers.

The results presented by Nomisma are clear: compared to the previous year, 6% more consumers are now familiar with Blonde d’Aquitaine. The meat is now perceived as a premium product, appreciated for its distinctive flavor and unique characteristics, making it the ideal choice for those seeking quality and freshness.

During the event, Franco Martini and Simone Mellano, respectively President and Director of Asprocarne Piemonte, presented initiatives aimed at further strengthening the brand in Italy. The roundtable, moderated by journalist Paolo Massobrio, revealed how Blonde d’Aquitaine is gaining more and more ground in the national gastronomic scene, attracting the attention of chefs and consumers alike.

The day ended with an exclusive tasting by chef Roberto Pirelli of the Lisander Restaurant in Malgrate (LC), who prepared creative dishes such as a Blonde d’Aquitaine tartare with smoked Grana Padano DOP cream and a tagliata with hazelnut butter and Nebbiolo reduction, fully highlighting the meat’s exceptional qualities.
