{"id":4363,"date":"2023-10-30T11:10:30","date_gmt":"2023-10-30T10:10:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.blonde-aquitaine.com\/?p=4363"},"modified":"2023-11-13T16:31:41","modified_gmt":"2023-11-13T15:31:41","slug":"the-blonde-daquitaine-on-e-planet-top-quality-from-the-farms-to-your-table","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.blonde-aquitaine.com\/en\/the-blonde-daquitaine-on-e-planet-top-quality-from-the-farms-to-your-table\/","title":{"rendered":"The Blonde d\u2019Aquitaine on E-Planet \u2013 top quality, from the farms to your table"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text css=&#8221;{}&#8221; uniqid=&#8221;64771496122a4&#8243;]Simone Mellano, Director of Asprocarne Piemonte, and Franco Martini, President of Asprocarne Piemonte, illustrated the characteristics of the Blonde d\u2019Aquitaine cattle breed on the occasion of the World Food Day, in the episode of the Italian TV program <em>E-Planet<\/em> aired on Sunday 15<sup>th<\/sup> October on Mediaset\u2019s TV channels.<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<iframe id=\"playeriframe\" style=\"width: 1080px; height: 610px;\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.video.mediaset.it\/player\/playerIFrame.shtml?id=1529499&amp;guid=F312329501042C05&amp;muted=false&amp;autoplay=false\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The quality of our diet does not only depend on what we choose to eat and how often we eat it; when it comes to the consumption of animal-based foods, the farming conditions and the feeding of the animals themselves are also a key factor.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of the Blonde d\u2019Aquitaine cattle breed, a virtuous farming model is adopted which is reflected in the quality of the meat.<\/p>\n<p>Initially bred on the mountain pastures of the south-west of France and then transferred to Italian farms, mainly in Piedmont, the Blonde d\u2019Aquitaine cattle are raised following a protocol implying that the animals be fed with naturally feeds produced locally, all while reducing stress to the minimum, especially for the calves.<\/p>\n<p>Blonde d\u2019Aquitaine farms have been also waiting for the recognition by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture of the production regulation called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politicheagricole.it\/flex\/cm\/pages\/ServeBLOB.php\/L\/IT\/IDPagina\/10953\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Allevamenti Sostenibili<\/em><\/a> (Sustainable Breeding), which officially certifies the optimal care given to the animals.
